I spent most of my life wearing glasses I didn't like, made by brands that didn't reflect my values or tastes. Worse still, they never fitted properly; forever sliding down my nose or straining at the temples. I later learned that most glasses are designed to fit "standard" Caucasian features and therefore they did not accommodate my (very large!) half-Korean, half-English face.

Frustrated yet certain that it didn't have to be like this, I set out to find independent, innovative, intentional and inclusive glasses and sunglasses brands. The "Four 'I's", if you will.

Bespectacled not only showcases select independent eyewear brands from around the world, but also provides an inclusive shopping experience which caters to all face shapes and sizes.

Quite simply, this is eyewear you want to wear.
